Bomet University College hosted the KIPPRA Student Mentorship Programme, an initiative aimed at empowering Kenya’s youth through professional development, career management, innovation, and talent promotion.

Students participated in interactive sessions designed to strengthen their employability skills, personal branding, and entrepreneurial readiness, highlighting the importance of aligning individual talents with national development priorities.

Key discussions emphasized youth-led innovation and entrepreneurship as engines of socioeconomic transformation, and the need to integrate youth talents into public planning and budgeting. Participants also learned how devolution can advance youth talent development through county-level opportunities and equitable resource allocation.

In addition, health and wellness sessions underscored the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse, promoting positive character formation as the foundation for nurturing productive, responsible youth.
