Bomet University College proudly hosted the 2025 Kenya Universities Sports Federation (KUSF) Athletics Track and Field Championship at the BUC IAAF Stadium on 4th–5th October 2025. The event brought together top athletes from universities across Kenya, showcasing remarkable talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Overall Results:
- Mount Kenya University (MKU) emerged the overall winner with 6 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
- Followed closely by Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) with 5 gold, 9 silver, and 5 bronze medals.
- Kisii University and Kibabii University tied in third position, each earning 4–5 golds and multiple podium finishes.
- The host, Bomet University College, put on an impressive performance, securing 4 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals to finish in 5th position overall.
The championship demonstrated the growing competitiveness and athletic excellence in Kenyan universities, further cementing the role of sports in nurturing holistic education and youth development.
